Gameplay
This is an introduction to the basic gameplay elements found in Candy Match 3 Kit.
Candies
The default candies in the game. They can be matched with other candies of the same color (horizontal, vertical, T-shaped and L-shaped matches are supported).
Special candies
Horizontal striped candies
These special candies are created when 4 candies of the same color form a match and the direction of the last swap is horizontal.
Vertical striped candies
These special candies are created when 4 candies of the same color form a match and the direction of the last swap is vertical.
Wrapped candies
These special candies are created when 5 candies of the same color form a T-shaped or L-shaped match.
Color bomb
These special candies are created when 5 candies of the same color form a horizontal or vertical match.
Elements
Honey
Honey is only destroyed when a match happens with the candy inside the ice.
Ice
Ice is only destroyed when a match happens with the candy inside the ice. The candy inside the ice cannot be swapped.
Syrup x1
Syrup x1 is only destroyed when a match happens with the candy inside the ice (same as the honey).
Syrup x2
Syrup x2 is only destroyed when a match happens with the candy inside the ice (same as the honey). When the syrup x2 is destroyed, a syrup x1 is left instead.
Special blocks
Marshmallow
Marshmallow is only destroyed when a match happens in a neighboring tile.
Chocolate
Chocolate is only destroyed when a match happens in a neighboring tile. Every time a chocolate block is not destroyed, the chocolate in the current level expands to one neighboring tile.
Unbreakable
Unbreakable blocks cannot be destroyed.
Collectables
Collectables are automatically collected when they reach the bottom of the level.
Cherry
Watermelon
Boosters
Lollipop
Destroys a selected tile.
Bomb
Destroys a selected tile plus all the adjacent tiles.
Switch
Switches two tiles.
Color bomb
Places a color bomb at the selected location.
Combos
Two horizontal candies combined will explode three rows instead of one.
Two vertical candies combined will explode three columns instead of one.
A horizontal candy combined with a vertical candy will explode both a row and a column.
Two wrapped candies combined will explode a bigger neighboring square of tiles.
A wrapped candy combined with a striped candy will explode three rows and three columns.
A color bomb combined with a striped candy will transform all the candies of the same color into striped candies.
A color bomb combined with a wrapped candy will transform all the candies of the same color into wrapped candies.
Two color bombs combined will explode all the candies in the level.
